Having dedicated itself for almost two decades to the development of leaders and conscientious contributors to our society, CPSA has attracted thousands of applicants and eager students.  As a result, we have quickly outgrown our current facility and are looking to expand.  In order to continue to provide your children with quality education in an Islamic environment, CPSA has unveiled plans to improve and expand its campus by renovating its current building -- devoting it completely for our elementary school, while constructing a new, state-of the-art facility, for junior high and high school.  To accomplish this, we need your help by way of prayers and donations.  As with any contribution to CPSA, your donation will be tax deductible.

Why do we need the Expansion Project?

Alhamdulillah, CPSA has made major progress in achieving its goal of academic excellence, despite out-
dated infrastructure including lack of up-to-date labs and library. Our gymnasium is much smaller than a
standard school gym. In addition to being used as a gym, it is also used as a cafeteria and prayer hall. Chicago weather forces students and staff to stay indoors for at least 6 months of the year, causing frustration among students and teachers due to the cramped quarters. We also want to expand our curriculum to include more leadership development programs, community service training and additional subjects areas to be able to send high performing graduates in disciplines besides Engineering and Medicine.

Our greatest challenge is not having enough space and up-to-date facilities. Unfortunately, CPSA also
currently does not have enough room to accommodate all applicants, resulting in a long waiting list for the
elementary grades. With expansion, we can increase enrollment and extend our services to more families
within the community, add to our current offerings and increase the efficiency of our current operation.
Without this expansion project, it will be very difficult to continue to be a leader in academics and beyond.

What will the new project add?

The new project consists of a State-of-the art building consisting of three floors, including a basement. It will
have a full size gymnasium, a cafeteria, a multi-purpose room (primarily for prayers), a full-size library, 4 full-size science labs, 18 class rooms, administration offices, a separate pre-school and day-care with play area and an under-ground tunnel connecting to the old build-ing. In addition the plan include addition of significant amount of
parking space in the front of the old building and along the side of new building. Storm drainage, traffic management and landscaping is also included in the project.

What is the total cost of the project and how much of it has been raised so far?

The projected cost for the entire project is $7.5 million. The project is going to be built in phases. We
currently have $525,000 in cash and another $1.1 million in pledges.

How you will come up with the rest?

With help from Allah(swt) and the support of our parent body, alumni, supporters and well-wishers from
Chicago land and nation wide, we hope to accomplish this difficult but not impossible task. We ask for your
