Admission requirements are based upon evidence of normal progress and
achievement in the student’s previous school. Incoming freshmen are
required to submit evidence of satisfactory completion of their
previous grades and current grade. Transcripts of credits earned and
grade placement are required from all previous schools for all students
transferring from other secondary schools. The record of health
examination and immunization for the 9th grade level is a requirement
by law. Students will not be allowed to attend school if this State
requirement is not met. In addition, all students participating in
athletics must have a physical examination for each year in which they
participated. We cannot emphasis more need for this to be completed
prior to the opening of the school. Incoming student should have
physicals performed before the beginning of the school year.
New students are required to take an entry test administered by
CPSA and score no less then a C grade for admission to Grades 6 to 9.
Admission to Grade 9 to 12 is limited to honor students selected by the
CPSA Admission committee.
All new students are on probation for the first quarter of the
academic year. Those showing special learning, speech behavior or study
habit problems may be asked to withdraw from the school.
