CAREER GUIDANCE1. Career Planning CPSA provides students many opportunities to prepare themselves for entrance into specific careers. Students are encouraged to discuss with the Guidance Counselor the sequence of courses which will help them prepare for further work in a career area. 2. College WorkshopsCPSA’s Guidance Counselor meets students and parents to assist in pre-college planning. Some college representatives also visit CPSA to talk with students and staff during scheduled appointments. 3. Summer ProgramStudents can take courses through the “Teens on Campus” program at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn or at neighboring schools. 4. Guidance CounselorA High School Guidance Counselor will be available to provide academic, extra curricular and college guidance to students and to aid parents and teachers in the evaluation of a student’s scholastic progress and potential. In conjunction with other staff members, the Counselor will help to design and implement plans conducive to meeting a student’s educational and career development goals.
